Multi-day tour itineraries can be booked for anything from two days to four weeks, longer trips can include parts of Ireland, England and Wales too. Most tours start and finish in Glasgow or Edinburgh however you can begin and finish your road trip anywhere in the British Isles, to suit your travel schedule, giving you the flexibility of flying into one city, or country and out of another. On a multi-day road trip itinerary, depending on the duration, you would normally spend each night in a different location but on longer schedules you can use one or two places as a hub for two, three or four night stays and then day-trip out from that place each day - the choice is yours! Multi-day tours can all be personalised to your requirements, from two day Highland tours to a four week Grand Tour of Scotland or the British Isles, and everything in between! This magical archipelago is full of mystical ancient heritage sites, stone circles, wildlife, distilleries and breweries, topped off in the Summer months by a beautiful iridescent light and fields of wild flowers. The Aurora Borealis, or the Northern Lights, are frequently seen from Orkney, mostly in the Winter, but the midnight sunsets in mid-Summer can be equally spectacular too.
Scotland's most northerly islands lie over 100 miles north of the mainland, only six degrees south of the Arctic Circle, and provide the visitor with a unique opportunity to experience an unspoiled archipelago of 100 islands which is blessed with wildlife and a rich cultural history.
Filming sites for popular TV series Outlander are spread fairly evenly throughout Central Scotland and the Southern Highlands. A two, three or four day itinerary is perfect for seeing the majority of the main Scottish locations.

Island hopping Scottish style! Get away from it all with a road and sea trip around the Inner and Outer Hebrides archipelagos on Scotland's West Coast. There are dozens of islands to choose from including; Skye, Mull, Islay, Jura, Colonsay, Iona, Raasay, Tiree, Barra, Eriskay, South Uist, Benbecula, North Uist, Harris and Lewis.
The big Scottish tour requires a minimum of two weeks to enable you to see the best of the mainland and selected island highlights. The rolling green hills of the Southern Uplands, ancient abbeys, charming market towns and famous salmon river,s as well as a turbulent border history, make this area of Scotland a fascinating and rewarding place to visit.
Experience and contrast the cultures of these two ancient Celtic nations with a rich history of cross migration, shared language, music and not forgetting....whisky! Ferry crossings between Scotland and Ireland take as little as two hours making it an easy option for a multi-country tour.
Combine a Scotland tour with a few days in England exploring places such as the Lake District, Northumberland, Yorkshire, Bath, Somerset and Stonehenge. If you are flying into or out of an English airport I can collect you or drop you off from Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted, Luton, Birmingham or Manchester to begin or finish your tour.
Add a few days in Wales onto your Scotland and England Tour and explore the Snowdonia and Brecon Beacons National Parks, the beautiful beaches and wild coastlines of the Llyn and Gower Peninsulas, mighty castles and an ancient Celtic culture.
